Do the math -- x number of rainy days, 3 days a worker is a no-show, a job, other commitments, and 4 rather large rocks that need to be moved before things get moving. Sum total is not much happened the past two weeks. Decomposed granite delivered, partly spread, partly piled. Six possumhaw hollies planted, plus a Mexican plum, anacacho orchid tree, elbow bush, six will flemings, and a few other things. But the berms are still just piles of dirt, and the rocks are not in their proper place. And I have two pressing deadlines and really need to stay out of the front yard!
Tuesday, the rocks will move, and the berms will form. The mounds of gravel will be spread, and it will all look better. Tuesday, more rain = more mud.
